To activate your sprinkler system in spring it’s actually quite easy. The key is to perform a slow sprinkler startup. Turn the water on partially, run the sprinklers, and let the air out. Once they are all starting to spray or bubble water, then turn the water pressure up.
This method to starting your sprinklers will prevent damage from water hammer effects. Don’t burst your sprinkler heads and start the year off wrong!
